Through much debate on how the Facebook‘s Face Uplift was horrible, unorganized and looks ugly. I beg to differ. I was attracted to the Facebook uplift and thought that it was better than the unorganized, application-filled profile page. Though people are still getting used to the uplift, Facebook has recently announced that it, will once again, do another uplift. Seen on the photo above, it will have a better sense of organization, it got rid of the iconic blue bar at the top, and they apparently went away with the multiple paged Facebook and just put them all together into one page with everyone’s updates, posts, etc.
If you’re a fan of the Half-Life Series, chances are, you know the company Black Mesa. And if you’ve played Portal, you know all about it. As technology progresses and as the Source engine tightens, they decided it’s time to revisit the past. They planned on recreating the first ever Half Life story, how it happened, and put a deeper more stable story to go with it. A triler has already been released but the unveiling hasn’t been… yet.
Here’s th trailer (watch it in HD if you can):
It is basically the first ever Half Life game with better graphics and gameplay.
Today was pretty awesome! I got a new haircut, went to the mall with my parents and went to the Car Show at the IX Center in Cleveland, Ohio!
They featured many car brands, all known – Chevrolet, Ford, Mercedes Benz, Honda, Toyota… and many more! They had a ferris wheel in the middle of the building, complete with aracade games and prizes, they had simulators where the army helicopter simulator would really tumble you in a full 360 degree spin. They also had thier annual Fox 8 Cleveland Idol Contest where the best singer wins tickets to the final American Idol Concert. Raffles for Indians games, Car Giveaways and many more that I haven’t known about. But overall, the Car Show is always about showing off the car company’s new line of cars for the year, their new concept cars in production, plans and basically a shoutout to people that they’re still here, makin’ awesome cars as ussual.
What fascinates me about Super Mario Galaxy is… (besides the awesome gameplay) …the music. I must confess. I do appreciate certain kinds of orchestral music. Something in it just entices me to listen, feel and ride with it. And the fact that Nintendo had the guts to orchestrate a video game is just wonderful! And yes, I do wish that they’d orchestrate most of the games… when necessary.
Super Mario has long been the best of the best – gameplay, art, music, you name it! All thanks to the genius mastermind, Shigeru Miyamoto who somehow had the mind to put Mario in his head and make it come to life. In 2007, he developed another chapter for our always contending hero – Super Mario Galaxy – where Mario takes to the skies and into space to save Princess Peach and the universe from Bowser’s plan for total universe domination. Here, you’ll see some old characters from the series and some new ones who fit the chapter flawlessly. In this series of Super Mario, you get to travel from one Galaxy to the other through the help of the Luma Stars and the Star Princess, Rosalina.
